Over the last number of years, gun powder tins and lanterns have become very collectible antiques and they are an art form in their own right. Dietz U.S. Brass Tubular lantern Globe labeled "Dietz US Tubular". The only other lantern with this small globe is the Little Star. Original 1800's patent dates on the bottom of the font but also indicates "Reissue Feb. 28, 79 and Mar 4, 79". Retains the original cap, wick adjust and cover. (Item 0098) Asking Price: $160.00
Early Brass Dietz Skaters Lantern
The fount is triangular and tiered at three levels. It is soldered on the bottom. The wick adjust is unlabeled. The wick adjust knob has no markings but is starred. It has an original pear shaped glass with some small air bubbles. Retains the original handle in brass. (Item 0159) Asking Price: SOLD
Dietz Little Star Lantern
Overall great condition, but the fount has some rust, but no holes. The Little Star is an 11 inch tall lantern with square tubes. The globe is only 5 1/2 inches tall. The globe is original to the lantern and labeled Dietz US, New York, USA. Retains the original wick adjust and dome. All original condition, easy to read patent dates. Early Hams Gem Brass Lantern
A junior sized, cold blast lantern made of all solid polished brass. Lantern retains an unmarked globe, original handle, top loop and brass cap. The fount is labeled "Ham's Gem Cold Blast, Rochester, NY, USA". Patent dates from 1888 to 1893 are stamped on the bottom of the fount. (Item 0076) Asking Price: $185.00
DuPont Indian Rifle Gunpowder Tin
Patent date listed as November 12, 1908, triple FFFG on back label. 1/2 pound tin measures 4 high by 3 1/2 wide by 1 1/4 thick. Back label in excellent condition with no wear or discoloration. Retains original cap. All original condition. Circa 1908. (Item 0109) Asking Price: SOLD
Rare Schultze Gunpowder Tin
Looks to potentially be a military tin that was supplied by Schultze. Labeled as "Granulated Schultze Gunpowder". Stamped in red over the details of the tin is "SCHULTZ GUNPOWDER, IMPROVED WATERPROOF, NEW ISSUE". Could have been issued for World War 1 in 1914. Labeled that this 1 pound tin is equal to 2 pounds of black powder. (Item 0122) Asking Price: $350.00

Laflin & Rand Unique Smokeless Gunpowder Tin
Very strong original condition with original label 100% intact. Old owner placed tape over "Unique" and signed their name "Greg Walsrode"? On the back of the tin, the measurements are crossed out and notes are made in pencil. It retains the original cap and a good part of the sealing label. Rarity 3, Circa 1900.
